Completed Projects: Modern Farmhouse

This new house enjoys a one-acre, sloped and partially wooded lot in a Seattle neighborhood with views of Lake Washington and the Cascades beyond. Designed for a growing family, the house is generous in size while presenting a low profile to the street entrance. Built into the hilside, the main floor living areas are accessed from the driveway and are designed to take advantage of diagonal views towards the lake. The daylight basement on the low side of the house provides access to an expansive lawn that runs the width of the property. A detached garage also takes advantage of the slope with parking provided on two levels.
